Dr. h.c. Gerhard Kaiser is the Founder and Chairman of Naxxar Energy Group, with nearly four decades of international experience in corporate law, M&A, restructuring, investment advisory, and renewable energy. A qualified lawyer since 1984, he held senior partnership and leadership roles at leading international law firms, including serving as Country Managing Partner Germany of Dechert. His own legal practice was acquired by Simmons & Simmons.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Kaiser has advised businesses, investors and financial institutions on complex cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, and strategic growth initiatives. He subsequently expanded into investment advisory, supporting institutional clients in real estate and renewable energy investments by combining legal, financial and commercial perspectives.
In 2018, Dr. Kaiser entered the Romanian renewable energy market and, in 2021, founded Naxxar Energy Group. He now leads Naxxar’s strategic direction and works with its international management team to develop, acquire and own high-quality renewable-energy infrastructure across Europe.
