Professional Overview

Gerhard Kaiser is the Founder and Chairman of Naxxar. He brings 38 years of professional experience across corporate law, investment advisory and renewable energy, with a career defined by company building, cross-border transactions and strategic platform development.

He began his career in 1984, qualifying as a lawyer and gaining admission to the bar before moving into corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions and corporate restructuring. This background gave him deep experience navigating complex legal frameworks, advising on strategic acquisitions and financial restructuring, and working with institutional counterparties.

Gerhard went on to found, build and lead a legal practice that was later acquired by Simmons & Simmons. He subsequently moved from corporate law into investment advisory, applying his understanding of financial markets and deal structuring to institutional investment decisions in real estate and renewable energy.

Having developed a strong focus on renewable energy investment, Gerhard entered the Romanian renewable energy market in 2018 and founded Naxxar in 2021 with the ambition of building an independent renewable energy company capable of scaling into a market-leading pan-European renewable energy power platform.
