Tomasz Kietlinski

Chief Financial Officer

Tomasz Kietliński is the Chief Financial Officer of Naxxar Energy Group. He holds an Executive MBA from the Warsaw School of Economics and Université du Québec à Montréal, is an Advanced Management Program graduate of IESE Business School, and a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (UK). He brings more than 20 years of international experience, 15 of them in energy, spanning corporate and project finance, capital markets, M&A and building finance organisations.

Before joining Naxxar, Tomasz was CFO of Green Capital S.A., a developer transitioning into an independent power producer with renewable-energy, battery storage and data-centre projects across Eastern Europe, Africa and Argentina. There he structured a 300 MW battery storage joint venture in Poland, representing approximately €185 million of capital expenditure. He previously spent thirteen years at Polenergia S.A., Poland’s leading privately owned integrated energy utility, latterly as Group CFO from 2020 and Deputy CEO from 2021. He began his career at PwC in corporate treasury and financial risk management.

At Polenergia, Tomasz led the funding of the group’s growth, securing approximately €470 million of project and corporate debt and €400 million of equity on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and headed a finance and investor relations organisation of over 50 professionals serving some 70 group entities. He sat on the executive board of the Polenergia–Equinor joint venture developing 3 GW of Baltic offshore wind, and on the supervisory boards of its electricity trading and solar businesses. At Naxxar, Tomasz leads financial strategy, capital raising and governance, and is building the finance function of a scaling pan-European platform.
